We've got 7 days coming up where the high is in the low 50s and the low in 30s. So it was definitely time to take down the hummingbird feeders. I think I saw a snow bird this AM.

When in Maine at the end of last month, I saw snowbirds..... We saw two hummers when we returned from Maine, but by the following week, they beat feet or wings....

Birds have all but disappeared here.

Hummer feeders are down, no activity within the last week or two at them.

I know there's one out there again. I'm in my office but I can hear it. They are loud.

Cool Jay, Patricia. We get them from time to time in the yard, but I've not been able to grab a photo. We saw a few while walking in the woods recently, and they were too fast for me and my camera. And yes, they are loud!

I "found" a new bird today. Not in the yard, but in the area where I look for birds...found out it's a Savannah Sparrow. Those don't even make my MA bird book.

You need a better bird book. This is the best we have ever found. Been using it since 1983.

I will have to ask Santa...............or Amazon!

I was out and about for a bit yesterday. Grabbed a couple shots of an osprey. I would have thought he/she would have migrated by now.
