Thanks, Dave. I just got a "tad" annoyed in your SUV thread..., which I have enjoyed.

Some money could be made at one time, but with today’s Federal suppression on discretionary spending it’s doubtful.

Sorry, Lainey.

I bought some forever stamps with birds on to use for Christmas 2016. I still have most of them. I find it very difficult to part with them on business envelopes and I send only three or four personal letters a month. Never did send out last years Christmas cards!

Lovely pics, Lainey. Chickadees are my daughter's favorite little birds where I really have a thing for the titmouse. They nest in a birdhouse here and I have a ton of them. Cute little fellas.

Is anyone else experiencing a lack of activity at the feeders? I know a few birds may migrate, but generally I have the gold finch, woodpeckers, chickadees, titmice, nuthatch and more year round, but feeders are pretty quiet. I did question Mass Audubon and they did say sometimes this happens at this time of year. At times it may be due to feeding the birds in the summer, thereby attracting more birds to my yard and they may have consumed the "natural" food available, and moved on........hmmmm.

I had to toss my suet as it had gone bad and that never happens. I didn't realize it right away as I'm not in the yard all that often this time of year. Hope the birds are smarter than I am and realized it had gone bad. I checked all feeders yesterday and we are good to go. Now I want my birds back. I did see one chickadee a few times this AM, but that was it.

Lots of birds. No issues, except heavy rain off and on.
