Default Fumoto oil drain valve

I was thinking about the N valve with the nipple.

Just FYI, a Sponsor on here sells them: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/811...nges-in-stock/

They work just as advertised. I have one and love it. Makes oil changes so much easier.

I installed it in 2003 and love it. It makes changing oil very easy. You can reach it from above. You do need to get a shallow pan to fit beneath the car. I change my oil every 1,000 miles and the fumoto valve has made it very simple. No leaks or problems in 8 years and over 25 oil changes.

You don't need to get the one with the nipple, it's a waste of money. I have the one with the nipple and have never taken advantage of it. Get the one without the nipple.

As I recall, you need the adaptor to fit it to the oil pan (the fumoto website will advise you). Don't over tighten it.

Thank's for the feedback! I noticed, after I posted up, that it states in the online brochure that they recommend that car's with low clearance not get the nipple.

You do need the adapter so it will fit our drain pan.

Thanks! The adapter should make it easier to access.

The other option, not that I do it, is to siphon.
for some reason MB service never drains but always uses the siphon.

I have had one on my 00' for years. Easy to change the oil without getting underneath the car. Also have it on other cars.
