Garage Floor Snow Mat
Those of us living in the "salt belt" know how salt can really destroy a garage floor over time. Since my wife is parking her CR-V in my heated garage during the winter I thought I should get something to protect that floor since its always been a car storage area; i.e., never seen salt. Here's what I got.
So far it works as expected. Its collecting both small pools of melted snow and salt. They include a squeegee to push out the water if it builds up. I used a garage vac instead, sucking the water and salt into a five gallon plastic paint can which I can empty anytime. So far I've only done that once. How often, remains to be seen. Worth it to save the floor.
The midsize 7½ x 18 was $196 from Auto Floor Guard, 734-237-1227. I just checked the link and it looks like they had a cyber sale and sold out for now. Rain Snow Mud Containme#2509581

Thanks Dave. Very interesting. Seems narrow. Is it easy to center the car on it?

She has no problem centering it . . . but she is younger than me. It is available in a larger size. This size was just right for the space and the CR-V; which is 7' wide if you include the mirrors.

That looks very nice! A very good investment to protect your nice garage floor!
Did you buy it on Ebay? The link that you gave appears to be to Ebay.
Here is AutoFoorGuard website. It appears to be in stock there now.

Thanks Sue.... I did buy it on E-bay. I had no idea it was a MI company.
