Garden/yards 2026
Time for the new garden/yard thread.
I need to add some pictures,(for Patricia) but it's cold out. One area of our arbor vitae took a real beating during the blizzard. Other areas popped back up again, this one did not. We just had our shrub guy come by and take a look at it. Not much choice but to give the shrub a major haircut and it will be into the wood, as they say. It will look like crap for a while, but it already does. There is no guarantee that any new greenery will grow in, but can't leave it as it is. If greenery doesn't come in, his suggestion is to plant some new shrubs among the ones that are out there to fill in the area. That may work.
