Not sure about you Gene... but when I got the award in 2016 I was speechless.... I had no idea that I was going to be the recipient....
I went up and got the award, and didn't say anything.... I was shell shocked! Which doesn't happen to me very often!
Hopefully you could do better and thanked the people who nominated you for the award, and the group as a whole.
Wish I could go back in time and thank a few people... mainly Denny (Looter)....
That being said... the S2000 community thanks you for all you have done to keep the group alive, and keep us moving forward!

I was just as surprised as you! I had no idea.
I did manage to mumble a few thanks and humbly accepted the plaque.

^I watched the video taken during the event that is on Facebook on the S2KCA group page. In at about 28:43, you did look surprised and it was sweet. I liked your thank you. "Thank you. I have nothing else to say." You tried to sit back down but weren't allowed to because you were announcing Gettysburg for next year's S2KCA Days. It was the President's choice (Coop) but he could ask for opinions.

I had looked into it but decided not to. Too much money for flights and hotels, again, after Spring Fling and when I have NSXPO and ElliptiGO meets coming up. Those flight$ and hotel$ add up quickly.
