Jeff Bezos, at a company meeting, predicted that Amazon will one day fail. As we watch the likes of GM, GE, IBM, Xerox, DuPont, Sears and AT&T struggle to maintain market position it is always good to consider the likes of British East India Company or maybe more recently Pa Railroad. While we see significant changing in technology, we will see the "older" firms try to keep up. Some will and some will be Western Electric or DEC.

Are you suggesting that trucks and SUVs no longer include steel and aluminum?

profit margins on cars are substantially lower than trucks.
it provides both the impetus and the rational.

This means the tin foil hats cost more as well. Again, better that I can't see.
