Good luck to Patty and to you, Dave. The treatment options will give you a good idea how severe this is. I hope it isn't too advanced. The "good" thing is that the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer is a heck of a lot better these days than it was just 10 or 20 years ago. I'm sure you have researched it already, but I found this article to be very informative:

Thanks everyone. We are both keeping a positive attitude and will deal with whatever comes our way.

Dennis and I are keeping Patty and you, too, Dave in our thoughts, hoping for a positive outcome.

David, darn! No fun. The doctor isn't sure yet what Patty's got going on so maybe it'll be an "easy" fix and be over. One can hope. ((HUG))

Hey Scoots,

Tomorrow is always better than today. Patty will be fine. You need to believe this to make it happen. Godspeed.

As for saying goodbye to 2018, Can I get an Amen brother?
It sure started out crappy and slowly got worse. but slowly the year turned around and has gotten better.
At the worst of it, there were many nights I went to bed praying I wouldn't wake up.
I just couldn't get enough sleep to feel good. We fixed it a few months ago by removing a fistula and the world turned around.
I don't feel like a teenager but now i'm just fat and out of shape which I can cope with.
