I've never been a fan of electronic password storage. I can control my 'paper' with a lock on the front door of my house. I can't control the electronic copy if something were to gain access to my network, my PC or has some kind of issue with the software that stores it. Since I can tell that my front door is open, I know when I have a physical issue at the house. What's really going on with all the software running on my PC, who knows what Password Safe does in the background, or any other software for that matter.

Lainey- and your administrator password to the router should be different too. Just my opinion.

Hmm the cable people set up the modem, it's a wireless modem, no separate router. It probably could/should be more secure.

As far as passwords, I keep them in notes in my iphone, but it's my own kind of code. I don't list XYZ bank and then an acccount # and password. That would be very silly.

Dang.... didn't know household routers have the ability for the guest account.

Thought you had to set up radius server or something like that....

I use Keepass2 for my passwords..... got copies on the desktop pc, 3 laptops, iphone and a Galaxy S4.....

I use SplashID. It is easy to use and can be synced to all of my computers, iPad and cell phone. I have used it for years.

Yes, this sounds like a fun vacation plan.

Better yet... drag you pc's along to the next event, and Friday or Saturday night after a few adult beverages, we'll work on your pc's....

Teehee! We could drop Ubuntu on one and see if anyone notices. Tell everybody it's Windows 8.2.

I pack so much stuff in the S for our weekends, Rick barely gets room for clean underwear. I don't think we can manage to bring the PC too.

Let me PM you geeks our address. It will be so much easier for me.
