Default Greetings From Vero Beach

Well I don't post much, but I thought I would pass this along, to keep those who want to know, updated.

On Friday I am having a third surgery on my right wrist. My doctor spends his winters here in Vero Beach FL and the summers at the Mayo Clinic and not wanting to have a casted summer agin, I came to Vero Beach. He will be performing an Ulnar Head prosthesis surgery which he developed. If you want to know more check out Small Bone Innovations .

It has been 2.5 years now and my story is certainly long and boring, but I strangely feel it has given me a lot to learn. This being the ninth time I have gone under during this time, I don't have much to worry about. All along I have felt very grateful for how much I have in life, such as friends, family and financial ability to weather this. It has made me reconsider my views of general medical care and its costs.

Hopefully I will be on an airplane next Wednesday headed back to California and I will update this once I get out of the Hospital. Please don't wast any worry on my account, save it for those who truly need it.

Sorry for my limited information and past contributions, as it is painful to type.

Dave

Best of luck, Dave...I thought your surgeries were over with. Sounds as if you have a great doctor, though.

Good luck with the surgery.
You don't need much help with the attitude.
Keep us posted.

Thank you all for your good wishes. The surgery was successful and I am looking forward to getting back home. Fortunately one of my best friends, who I have known since kindergarten, lives in North Palm Beach and I will get to spend some more time with he and his family recovering.

I am planning on attending the Nor'easter in August and hope to meet some of you East Coasters then.
