Default Hagerty announces the 2025 Road of the Year

In the May/June edition of the Drivers Club magazine they proclaimed the Cherohala Skyway as the 2025 Road of the Year.

Any comments about this?

It is a pretty nice road to travel, I enjoyed it. But there were parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway that I really enjoyed as well in that region.

For those of you that may not know this: The Blue Ridge Parkway has a speed limit of 45 MPH and as it is part of the National Park Service if one gets caught speeding, it is a Federal ticket that is NO getting out of.

Yes I knew that when I was driving there and I behaved myself. I found the drive to be enjoyable due to the surroundings and views , I didn't need to drive it overly fast to enjoy the roads. As a Canadian I made sure not to get into trouble there. Smokey Mountain National Park was an amazing drive for me as well.
