Glad that I got my solar gazebo lights up just in time for this.

 

 

I've been photographing and mapping Altadena and Pacific Palisades burn areas; collecting fire debris and subsurface soil and groundwater samples for laboratory analysis for volatile organic compounds, toxic heavy metals, petroleum hydrocarbons, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and then excavating, loading out, transporting, and disposing of fire debris under manifest to hazardous waste disposal facilities. One of my ongoing contributions to Earth Day 2025.
