Has anyone else seen the new Peak ad
I am curious if anyone else has seen the Danica Patrick Peak Anti-freeze ad that "is selling IT with sex".
I am curious if you think that this approach is going to help her or hurt her career in the long run?
I have my opinion.

It won't make any difference. The only thing that will make a difference to her career is winning. If she doesn't start winning soon, her career will be short lived and she will be the next Anna Kournakova. If she starts to win, she'll be fine.
The Peak Commercial won't make any difference either way.
An aside, I don't think the commercial is very good, and I don't think Danica is a very good actress. She looks awkward in the commercial.

BTW, I agree about the commercial being lousy. In fact I was so struck by her awkward attempt to combine "ruthless racer" and "sexy mankiller" that I didn't notice whatever it was she was trying to sell. All I noticed was "my goodness, she's not much of an actor!"

As someone who loves open wheeled racing, I believe she is good for the sport and brings in new fans. I don't care who's peaks she uses to sell it. I think the ad was very good, as it got my attention; normally I don't get excited about an anti-freeze ad, if that's what she was selling. 
Great commercial. She's a doll and I realllllly hope she performs well on the circuit.

The adv world has even started to promote some of the attractive *VINTAGE* men and women of the boomer world
There are some very well-preserved 50/60 year olds out there.....glad to see it!
