I love that car. That is the only hardtop and the only Ford I'd consider.

Yes, yet another excellent "retro" car from Ford.

I wonder if they'll get back into racing.

Yeah.....my 1997 Ford F150 EVERY day this winter

Was talking to the parts counter guys at the dealership up here. They said they where getting ONE Ford GT, but it was sold before it even came in and most likely wouldn't even be put on the floor to display it

The thing that I find most amazing about the Ford GT is how very beautiful and up to date it looks today, a full 40 years after the introduction of the original Ford GT-40. Many cars remain beautiful, but few are timeless like the GT.

Breathtaking. Ford should be greatly congratulated for building it. It's what made the Sixties for me (along with the Cobra).

That's the car that turned a 16 year old kid onto sports cars. I built a model of this in the back seat of a 59 Chevy between Massachusetts and Illinois in 1966 or 68. The only other car of the period that has as much appeal is the 427 Cobra, in which I got a ride in 1967!

I don't remember the GT from the first time around, but it is a beautiful car...don't think I'd ever buy one. I do like the new Mustang GTs (non-convertible) and plan to be parking one of those next to the S one day. I do currently have a Ford tow-beast, though...diesel F-250 crew cab. Might trade it in on another some day.
