Glad all is well. Do you have earthquake insurance? It's not typical around here but we have it. Years ago a small earthquake didn't do much damage at all, but some poor folks had foundation damage,, about 50K worth. After that, I decided the $ would be well spent.

Update: Reading the Exclusions portion of our Homeowner's policy, looks like we are not covered for earthquake damage. Need to see what adding that will cost.

This was the second time I was standing around saying to Nancy, WTF was that, the first time was a few years back with the quake in Va. We are not used to this stuff, and it takes you a bit aback. Not as close as Gene, about 50 miles from the epicenter.
Gene, we looked into the insurance thing when the Va quake hit, and we are not covered either.

We didn't feel anything in Lower Slower Delaware. It may take a few days. I experienced a 6.0 in Southern Calif when I worked. I was in a high rise hotel on the 15th floor getting ready to go to our annual convention and the whole building lurched forward then came back. I was in the bathroom, scared the you know what out of me. I flew out the door and took the stairs. The convention center closed as some of the steel beams were damaged. I never returned.

We actually live on a "fault" or whatever it is called. Unusual to have earthquakes here, but................I think coverage was around $100.00 or so.
