Rain, cold and wind out on the moors. most of my heritage is Welsh, Scottish and Irish, feels like home.
it's always amusing to play in high wind. of course I don't have a million reasons to worry about the outcome.
I slept in late this morning, got hit hard with a wonderful summer flu.
but staying in bed until 11:00 helped a lot. Fever and most of the cough is gone.

I was tempted to tweet about Kuchar's language out on the course.
There are live mic's out on the course.
Does he talk to his mother with that mouth?
I mean "Gosh Darn" and " Oh, shucks"?
does he think this a marine barracks?
this is, a gentlemen's game my good Sir!!!.
I think Spieth got mad at himself after 13, it snapped him out of his funk, cleared his head and really got him focused.
Imagine 72 holes of that focus.
I would love to play a round with 5 holes under par never mind 5 strokes in 4 holes.

I was kind of surprised that Kuchar did not go over that sand dune to watch Speith and the marshals discuss his unplayable and where Speith was to drop the ball.

I don't know if watching the distraction would have benefited him.
And there certainly wasn't a shortage of rules officials over there.
I think using the rest period was smart although I might have found a friendly fan with a folding chair.
It's good thing they are younger guys, us older guys would have been heading for the port-a-john. or is that port-a-loo over there?
