Default Hey Ray I need some detailing advice

Ray,

I was using 303 Aerospace protectant on my top and I was very happy with the results. I ran out and couldn't find it anywhere and didn't want to wait for mail-order so I bought Ragg Top. I applied it for the first time today. The jury is still out about the results. I'll know better tomorrow after its dry and I see it in the daylight. Granted it hadn't dried yet, but the top didn't seem to have the same sheen that I used to get with 303.

What convertible top dressing do you recommend?

Thanks.

Rob, I could give you a quart or so. I purchase a gallon some time back and still have quite a bit.

Thanks Scooots, I'd appreciate it.

When are you heading to Spring Fling. Adam is coming and I think he's leaving Dublin sometime Friday morning.

I like the 303 better than raggtop on vinyl tops but prefer raggtop on cloth tops. I can get both from my supplier in 2 days, www.detailedimage.com. Check out their website as they are one of the best suppliers in the country.

Ray, Thanks for another great tip. I have a Robbins Stayfast cloth top. I don't recall using anything on it but soap and water but it could use something.

Dave, Raggtop has a cleaner and protectant for cloth tops and is available at www.detailedimage.com which is my supplier. I recommend using a soft brush to remove any ground in dirt, let it dry then apply the protectant with a microfiber towel or a sponge. You may want to apply 2 thin coats for better protection.
