Nothing yet. They are supposed to come today to start demolition and we have the Nor'Easter scheduled for tomorrow.

That would be two this week. I think you guys are about the "snowfall" line, good luck.

I love demo, it clears the way for great new ideas.

Great new ideas are great but truth be told, probably 80% of the time when its all said and done I wished I would have done something a little different. I'm never totally disappointed but I always find something I would change.

I would not change anything in the kitchen or master bath renovations, but there are a couple of things I am changing in the upcoming guest bath restoration after the pipe work. Mainly the shower door, a framed one I hate. Can't wait to get a frameless one in there. And of course, the tile will all be new and different as I posted in my thread. You will really enjoy the new kitchen, I'm sure!

Did you save the old cabinets and countertops for your garage?

Me? No. I have shelves along the back wall, end to end, ceiling to floor. Then on the "wide side", I have 3 bakers racks. The S fits snugly.

The contractor works with some charities to evaluate what comes out and reuses what they can.

That is a critical eye, you see the things that still need improvement. With our kitchen (which we had done in 99), we used designers, and we did miss a couple of things, that I wish I had actually listened to the designers on, that said, what the guy designed is still in place nearly 20 years later, and we are still quite happy with the kitchen.
Now the bathroons, which I designed and constructed myself, I can always find the little annoying details that I got wrong.
