Had a '67 B, paid $250.00 for it It ran good, for about 12 hours, during the two years I had it Replaced tail light lenses a dozen times. Tried to sync the carbs yeah that worked It started when it was 33 degrees out but wouldn't when it was 32, go figure.
I was at college and headed out to party, when I approached the little gem there we're two hot chicks sitting in it. Very cool!!! The three of us partied all semester. The ladies loved it, how could I part with it.
Was driving home from work one day, when the front right wire wheel came off the spline while rounding a left hander. I was able to get the thing stopped but the tire kept on going. Bouncing off of at least six other cars, it looked like a pin ball game. The tire finally crashed into the back of a brand new mustang and mangled the bumper. As I approached the 'stang a gorgeous little filly got out, we exchanged insurance info and phone numbers. One thing lead to another and we dated for over a year. Go figure, how could I part with it.
As big a PITA that, that MG was to keep running, it was a lot of fun to drive and I have a lot of very fond memories of the times we had together. It was time to part with it.

Wife owned an 1969 MG Midget when we were first married. Hated to sync the twin SNU side draft carbs. She came home one night and asked what does it mean when the oil pressure gague reads 0. My response was "Time to trade it in". Thanks to STP was able to get the compression back up to where the dealer would accept it on a trade.
