Sorry to hear of this Patty I hope you have a speedy recovery! We will have to start a club of vintagers’ who have plates and screws in their bodies!

Hope you heal soon. Glad you drive better than you ride!

I'm home and have the dry heaves from the morphine. Insult added to injury. I have a 9:50 appointment tomorrow with the surgeon and then will most likely have surgery soon afterwards. It's an outpatient surgery. It's going to hurt but it hurts so much now it'll just be more of the same.

I'm impressed. From the sounds of it at least when you crash, you crash properly. None of this "I skinned my knee" rubbish, straight to "I made two bones out of one." Solid effort, A++.

Best wishes for your recovery.

I'm surprised they didn't keep you overnight to keep your pain under control. Not sure if this applies, but keep icing, don't want to delay surgery due to swelling.

What a bummer, Patty! All the best with surgery and recovery!! I've had some similar surgery earlier.

You got that right. In October of 2017 I broke my foot when I fell over on my off-road motorcycle. I broke like five bones then. A guy I know who lives in Santa Barbara and recently crashed his ElliptiGO posted pictures of a minor scratch on his leg. I told him I do worse than that just walking through my house.
