Default I can't believe she did it.

My beloved bride has never expressed a strong interests in the cars except when she hates them.
She is also cheap and would keep repairing them long after it is time to make them go away.
Since that is the case and I care more, I've always been the one to pick them.

Today we were looking at quartz counter for the kitchen and not coming to consensus.
I wanted a more large vein structured stone look and she didn't.
We bounced back and forth and she had found what she wanted.
She pointed to the Santiago and said "We're getting this one."
I said " what about the others I like?" ... That was when she did it.
We are getting this one, I didn't want to get the last two cars but we did. We're getting this one!"

She played the car card on me.... I was stunned, she had played the car card on me.... I was defenseless.
I guess we're getting the Santiago.

We've been married 37 years I guess we will probably make it to 38.

Read this lately... A positive compromise: While sometimes compromise means one person has to give something up, or extend oneself for the greater good of the relationship, try to also compromise in a positive way, rather than always sacrificing. Negotiate up for something rather than subtract. It Works!

Sounds like our house. Rick doesn't really care about much and tells me he won't even notice ____________ after a week anyway..

Or Gary, know when to shut up and say "Yes Dear"
mind you I'll tease her for months because she knows she "won"
However, after buying not one but two AMG's in the last year,.... I know enough to
She really is an angel though.
I'm surprised the Vatican hasn't called.
Anybody who puts up with my $^&* for 40+ years should probably be canonized.

^Like this? That makes a nice, clean look but not boring. Good choice.

Kitchen counters?! Heck, I wasn't consulted when my wife bought our her house two years ago. I just live here. And she buys her own cars and I buy mine.
