"Tammy" became the signature song of Debbie Reynolds. It's strange to hear Connie Francis sing it. I think I prefer Debbie Reynolds version. Not to take anything away from Connie. She was an excellent singer as well.

Connie's signature song is probably "Where the Boys Are", but she did so many other very good songs such as:

Vacation
Who's Sorry Now
Breaking in a Brand New Broken Heart
Lipstick on Your Collar
Stupid Cupid

and the song that I think is her best

Among My Souvenirs.

She also recorded in Italian and other foreign languages.

She is one of many excellent female singers from the 1950s and 1960s.

Joan Webber
Jo Stafford
Teresa Brewer
Gogi Grant
Arlene Smith
Shirley (and the Shirelles)
Timi Yuro
Ronnie(Bennett)Spector
Linda Ronstadt
Joan Baez
Judy Collins
Joni Mitchell
Carole King
Mary Travers
Judith Durham

just to name a few.
