The Wings pulled off a WIN in B-town! Aside from the fact that 3 of their best players were missing . . . we really needed to break that losing streak there. And, but for the refs, we could have seen a fight between the two goalies - that would have topped the night.

Yep Dave...... You beat us fair and square. . First time I can remember that two goalies tried to mix it up. That would have been interesting.

Goalie fights were a tradition between the Wings and Avs (who we play tonight).

They were out of sync playing the Wings last night. Reports say there is lots of finger pointing and bad mouthing in the locker room.... never good for any team. Still no shortage of shots on goal; Howard had to stop 43; maybe it was 42 as one went in.

Tonight its the Caps. This will be our 3rd game in 4 days; hope we have some energy left.

Didn't watch game...... Birthday. Had to put up with a lot of snide remarks about old age.
But they forgot that: "Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill"
Christmas gift checks haven't been written yet...!!!

Paul you guys certainly have more talent than the Wings - we are limited to one top player, Larkin. The Wings have really cooled off since their good November, with 8 losses so far this month. We should have won last night but lost to Florida. Tonight we play the Leafs! Our only chance is if their minds are on Christmas.
