Pretty cool promotional video on MG history to introduce the latest MG sports car, MG 6.

I liked the video but I'm not sure showing us cars that inspired and created such passion was a very good idea.
Especially before showing the 6 which at least at first blush wouldn't get a second glance as it was driving by.
I certainly could be wrong but it would appear that they are simply prostituting the name.

Ha ha. Maybe they are aiming at a recreation of the MG-VA Tourer.

If the MG 6 is a sports car, then so is the Civic Si

Love the video and wanted very much to love the 6. . . but alas I do not. Perhaps they'll refine it.

I think the Chinese have revived the '86 Taurus and called it the MG 6. The MG 7 wasn't much better.

I think the reason they're showing us all of the old MGs is because young people don't know what an MG is. The car has been out of the market too long. I think they're trying to renew the mystique surrounding the brand.

Now if they'd only make a car that lived up to the MG mystique, they'd have something.

Where is the convertible? Unless they bring in a convertible, I wouldn't be interested.
