I'm Fat; 2017
#231
Among the other trials and tribulations I've had, about 2 years ago I developed peripheral neuropathy.
the fatty tissue on my hands and field have lost fine sense of touch.
In it's place is the sensation of hot cold and pain randomly occurring but all at once.
It was getting more and more annoying so the neurologist put me on a med to help de-tune the sensation. it sort of works.
The other thing it de-tuned was my appetite. I just don't enjoy eating as much as I used too.
It's not all bad though. On April 23rd I weighed 262.6 lbs. This morning I weighed 248. So down almost 15 lbs.
I'm simply eating less. ( enjoying it less too )
I just need to figure out how to get some exercise coupled in to really burn the calories.

Went for my annual check up. I had lab work done prior to my visit. I am the picture of health! The electronic measurement thing indicates I have not shrunk. I'm still 5' tall. The other electronic measurement thing, called a scale, also indicated I've not shrunk. My weight has been bouncing around, and usually on Thursdays, I get a half way decent reading, but not today. Muscle weighs more than fat, RIGHT?
I discussed briefly with the doc, the "creeping scale" and kicking up the metabolism. Given the exercise I already do, she said, the only way would be to really, really, cut back on intake and then gradually increase consumption. Nope, not worth it at this point. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hope sooner or later a few pounds do disappear.

Lainey I tend to weigh myself at least twice a day, getting up and before I go to bed.
I can see the loss overnight from just respiration and loss of water.
So your state of hydration can change your weight a bit.
I just look at the overall trends of morning weights and night weights.
if it's trending the wrong way ( weigh?) ...

Still down 12 lbs from my highest point. I expect I'll be at this weight for some time.
