Let's see if I can stay on track. A slice of toast and a small glass of OJ followed by 30 minutes on the treadmill, 50 sit-ups and arm workouts with 8lb. dumbbells. Started some drywall repair to keep me busy 'till lunch. Lunch was a big bowl of rabbit food and a glass of water. Now back to repairing walls.

I exercise when I have a cold, like right now. If you sweat don't stay in those sweaty clothes very long. Take a luke warm shower and put on some extra clothes. I do not exercise if I have the flu.

So you get some carbs, not many, in a slice of toast and some sugar in the O.J. Depending on your intensity on the treadmill you may be ok. I would add some protein to the lunch (chicken, fish) for a balanced exercise diet of carbs, protein and some fat. Good luck.

Surprisingly, scaled ticked down a bit more. Christmas indulgence weight almost gone Now to get beyond that. I took a day off today that I didn't plan. What I had to take care of didn't consume much of the day. I grabbed an AM class at the Y and will go to the other Y for a PM class. Fairly low cal lunch, dinner tonight roasted chicken and veggies

IF I can stop the night time snacking I should be able to get that scale down a bit more....

Edit: Evening class was a tough one. I was the oldest one there. I took a "senior citizens' discount" and cut back on the reps of a few of the exercises. Push ups, burpees,....must be modified and I can't even try to do what the younger people are doing. Don't want to either.

Is anyone eating farro? I'm going to get some as a rice substitute. Looks very healthy with lots of fiber.

Well, I went on the treadmill and elliptical despite my cold. I don't feel any better or worse for the effort and today I weigh 185.5

^ How tall are you? That is a pretty low weight for a guy. That is the top (145) of what I should weigh at 5'4" tall.

I'm now 5'5". For some reason I've lost a lot of height for a little guy. I was 5'7" when I joined the Marine Corps at age 19. I spent most of my adult life between 130 and 133 up until I was about 65-66.

Harry, years ago yard sticks were much more accurate than today. I've lost some height with today's sticks as well.
