I generally eat 2 meals and a snack daily. First is in the 2-3PM range, then 8-9PM and cheese and wine before bed. I'll try splitting the 2 meals into 4 for a while to see what result I get. Thanks.

0.8lbs in two days is close to 3lbs a week. I'd be thrilled if I could manage that.

after facetiously thinking about diet, it's time to actually do it.
my weight has been on the slow crawl in the wrong direction.
I weigh morning and night and mentally track them and they are clearly trending the wrong way.
Morning tends to be the low end and today clipped 260.
Time to get serious.

Pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the scale just now. Down a pound from yesterday. Hope this is in indicator of things to come and not just a blip. I'm down 7lbs since Christmas and can feel the difference.

Got out my mini trampoline and put it right in front of the TV, so I have no excuse for not using it. It is very good exercise. Do not necessarily have to jump. Even standing on it and moving up and down or stepping with arms involved is enough to get the heart pumping. My doc wanted me to get in cardio at least three times a week. Since I have been lazy about going down to the gym, this should work at least some of the time.

Be careful. Excess weight can lead to type 2 Diabetes. You always weigh less in the morning. I would recommend diet and exercise. I did and lowered my A1C to 5.2. Good luck.

You guys can lose weight on more calories than I am allowed to maintain my weight. I don't think that's fair! I need IV only in order to lose weight.

But I had a good session at the gym. About 40 minutes of the interval class. Some weight work with bursts of cardio activity, (not too intense) then a Zumba class with a different instructor, who was a little more aerobic than our usual instructor. Fun class.

I usually skip breakfast as well. Everyone tells me that is wrong. My usual weight loss meal schedule is 12:00 noon lunch, dinner around 6-7 PM and that is all. But I had a pretty good weight loss day last week after having breakfast the day before.

My daughter did the 5-6 small meals a day thing and did quite well.
