That is a good idea to keep one in the cars, too!
We got one as a gift for our daughter, who is a runner, and often runs in the very early hours of the morning when it is still dark. She often has a running partner, too.
She and her family are also thinking of getting a dog who can run with her for some protection.
By the way, she will be running in the Boston Marathon this year. (Last year, she missed the cutoff by 10 seconds!)
Sorry this is off the topic of "I'm Fat." Vintage people often get "off topic."

I'm nearly 3lbs away from my goal. 138.1lbs this morning. While I'm not stuck on getting there by my birthday, the 1st, I'll be close enough for me to declare it to be well done. I have a grin that probably looks pretty silly right now.

You will be first to the finish, Harry. I don't know about the rest of the gang, but have about 24 pounds to go.

I bought one of these for my brother in-law after he was almost hit by a car...in his own driveway! His driveway is directly across from a stop sign and the driver ran the sign and continued at speed thinking the driveway was a continuation of the road! BIL was snow blowing after dark at the time. The vest is $8, well worth the price. I have one for riding after dark on the motorcycle.
In France you are required to have one in the trunk of your car.

Congrats, Harry and Bill on the progress!
I had my time at the Y and kept busy today. Ate pretty well. Scale ticked down a tad....we'll see tomorrow, as Tuesday is usually a bad scale day.

I'm at the lowest weight I've been in years. I'm just keeping on keeping on and not worrying about it. I'd love to drop another 7 or 8 pounds and will see how that goes. I like the intermittent fasting I'm doing. I eat and drink whatever I want but only between 5 and 10 PM. It's what works for me. Exactly a year ago I was exactly 10 pounds heavier. I was above that year ago weight for most of 2018.
