I'm at the lowest weight I've been in years. I'm just keeping on keeping on and not worrying about it. I'd love to drop another 7 or 8 pounds and will see how that goes. I like the intermittent fasting I'm doing. I eat and drink whatever I want but only between 5 and 10 PM. It's what works for me. Exactly a year ago I was exactly 10 pounds heavier. I was above that year ago weight for most of 2018.

I was still at 178.5 this morning. I just got home from a dinner at Del Frisco's. I have big dinners tomorrow and Thursday as well. I'm just trying to hold the line until Friday.

I understand how it seems like it's willpower but it's not for me. Willpower for me is not having wine at night. I want that! The thing is when you/I don't eat for some (?) length of time, and therefore don't have sugar or carbohydrates in my/your bloodstream and FUELING your body, your body does not hit the wall when it runs out of that fuel. It's already out of fuel. It's already adjusted to using its stores. I will do like I did on Sunday, a 27-mile ride on my ElliptiGO, that has over 2,000 feet of elevation gain, and I have NO fuel problem! My body is already running on its own fuel and not fuel I recently fed it. I'm not even hungry. If it's not there to begin with the hunger/crash/shakes don't happen to me like when I run out of fuel in my bloodstream as it wouId when I eat beforehand and start on fuel that I've put in my bloodstream.

That is amazing...most people are lucky to lose two pounds a week.

Thanks, so far so good. I am only doing three things differently. Started walking 30 minutes daily, stopped eating bread (which I love) and am kinda following the low carb diet ideas that Gene posted, and last of all, not drinking alcohol (which I love) during the week. I really don't feel like I'm starving myself at all because I now snack on things like hard boiled eggs or celery with cheese.
