It happened to me today. The coffee shop at the train station changed hands and overnight a guy I spoke with every morning for last 17 years is gone. Replaced by someone else. And later this year, I'll be gone. The train will roll on, taking others to work, until the day they come up with something to replace the train.

That gives me hope that I can sustain a good weight down the road.
Woo Hoo! I've crossed the threshold. Down another lb. this morning. 18 lbs. since Christmas.

I was down a tad this AM, but still no real progress. Trying to cut back on evening snacking and some (not all) of my M&M consumption.

173.3. It took one day to gain two pounds. Who know how long it will take to lose them?

You were right about recovery, Bill! I’m back down to 178.1 today. It’s reassuring.

I'm up two, too. It's been too cold to ride in Loveland, CO and I'm not stressing about the up. It will come down again even if it takes me 3 months. No hurry, here. I'm in California now and really hope to get in at least one longer ride. It was so green, flying over southern California with golden poppies covering the south facing hillsides, visible from the air.

^3-7-2019. Golden poppies in Riverside County, southern California.

^3-7-2019. Irvine Lake, CA. When I was in CA in mid January, it was still just a puddle. I've seen it fuller once in the past 11 years.

Nice pics, Patty. At first I thought that was your view from an eliptigo ride.

That sight made me uncover, air the tires and unplug the battery charger on my NSX. I gotta go see that!
