I seem to be stuck in the 177s for several days. But I’m still intent on losing a few more lbs. No hurry, but this thread keeps my mind on the task.

I planned my day today. I had a bowl of soup at 12:00. I'll have dinner at the restaurant around 6:00. I'll try to minimize alcohol to one drink and order a salad. I'll skip desert or coffee and go home to work out around 8:00 PM.

I just discovered my scales are failing, they show me anywhere within a 5lb range depending on how I place my weight. So my loss may just be a dirty lie. Mrs Donut is currently picking up a new set from the shops, this time one that can do body fat percentage etc so I can get a clearer overall picture of how I'm going.

Today I weighed in at 176. So still on a slow curve downward. I’m doing something right, just not sure what. Maybe it’s the daily tbsp of apple cider vinegar?

170.5 this AM. Up 1/10 of a pound after a pretty big dinner last night and two drinks. Tonight will be another dinner out....

Bill, I congratulate you on your effort but 0.1 of a pound is sampling noise.
1 cup of fluid is a 0.5 of a lb. Your .1 lb could reflect more on your current state of hydration or the timing of your last BM.
I weigh-in morning and night and will see a 3-5 lb swing overnight and this is while maintaining a fairly constant weight.
You're doing good, don't sweat the small stuff.
