Bill, I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of graphing your weight loss journey since you started posting about it. I think a picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes, but seeing your results so far is something you should be proud of!
Since you started posting, you have averaged losing 0.218 pounds per day, compared to my 0.202, so we are pretty close to the same rate, but I still have a lot further to go than you. Well done!

Wow! thanks for taking the time to do that Gene. I'm glad you posted that before today. After a weekend of drinking and eating and NOT exercising, I weighed in at 164 this morning. So back up 2.4 lbs this morning. I hop to knock of 1 or more by tomorrow morning. Then I'll be away from the scale for a while.

I seem to be stuck around the 196lb mark, probably due to many late nights working and little sleep. Not a horrible place to be stuck though, because we use the metric system and it translates to 89kg, which is below my self-loathing mark of 90kg.

I'm back under 160 lbs after having gone up when I crashed my ElliptiGO. Good.

Same weight I was at the start of the month. Which is good since I'm not working nearly as hard at it.

I seem to have stalled. I was down a pound all week, but today's weigh-in put me back where I was. I guess I have to try a little harder. Still no gains since I've started.

I had my annual physical yesterday. My PC was harassing me about my weight.

So now what?? Get a fit bit to motivate yourself? Set goals to start moving, and log food. Trust me it's fun.
Actually, I do find a bit of motivation wearing the fit bit, and an instant "high" if I reach the 10000 step goal and my wrist starts buzzing. I was just shy of 10K today, so I went down to the river looking for birds tonight. Got my steps in and a cool pic of a vulture. Anyone need a vulture pic?

I've had a garmin version of the fitbit for 4 years.
novelty wears off pretty quick.
there is also a number of areas at work where I can't wear it.
I don't get the exercise buzz anymore. I passed 2.5 million steps a while although it appears my "badges" have worn off.
