It's a classic BMW. Very sought after by people with more money than me.

I say that most BMWs are not beautiful, but I disagree with the position that there are no attractive models in their history. In addition to the 507 the 3.0CSI and CSL were and are still very attractive and purposeful looking, and I always turned to look at the old 633 and 635s.

I'm starting to wonder if that car I saw was a BMW. But I know I saw the emblem on it. Whichever one it was, I really liked it.

Bill, I have a 1/24 scale model of a 507 but in all honesty I do not care for the looks. I bought at a time when I was trying to get a 1/24 scale model of every sports car I could buy. I'm not a fan of the i8 either. I could see an early 70s CSL in my garage but heck, that's a sports sedan!

forgive me, for there is lust in my heart.
The VP of the division where I work purchased one when they came out. At the time I told myself I would buy one when they had depreciated. They never depreciated.

saw a Z8 parked at Watkins Glen when I was there for a HPDE event.

It is a work of art with great presence.

If I were at a stage where $200k was a minor expense, I'd do it

I was sort of trolling through BAT tonight.
I've been fantasizing about adding an SL of some flavor to the fleet.

holy crap that's...that's... 45 years ago....
