Default It's Make A Wish time...

Yep- we're back on our normal schedule and hoping for a blowout event on April 30th.

For those not aware or new to the group- it's a charity dart event I run to benefit Make-A-Wish NJ called Darts for Dreams. I've been running it since 2006 and we've raised over $550,000 and sponsored almost 60 wishes for kids in NJ facing critical illnesses. Many of you in this group have helped previously and hope for more of the same this year.

Many of our local sponsors are back and the darts community in general has been behind us. Our prize table, while not the biggest it's been is shaping up very nicely. Obviously, we've got lots of darts stuff, so if anyone wants to learn or give a gift - lots of options. We've also got plenty of national gift cards to win, lottery tickets, a vacation and sports memorabilia.

So if you want to take a look, check out https://www.dartsfordreams.com. You'll find some buttons there:

Dark Blue - Raffles, Pick what you want tickets for, and at the end, you donate right to MAWNJ via the link. I drop your tickets into the buckets.
Green - Donate - no raffles, but want to help the cause. But, if you're going to do this, just get the raffles anyway. CVS, Target, Amazon, Best Buy. Anything you can use or give away.
Red - Jerseys. I wear one when I play, but probably not something anyone here would get.
Orange - Buy it now. This will be updated tomorrow as I'm collecting things today. It's sports merchandise from teams not local to my area. So I'm selling those off anywhere I can - payment to MAWNJ directly and I'll ship the item.
Light Blue - Donation list. Not much value here, we use it to showcase our sponsors. It also has all the other prizes that aren't in the online raffle that local people or attendees can win.

Thanks everyone for the support over the years.

Gary

Been busy… thanks for the bumps all. Thanks again t9 those of you who bought some raffles or made a donation.

I posted on FB recently that we're over $30,000 in hand already and I’m projecting about $50,000 without the event day in the mix….

While I'm sure many of you have your favorite tools, I figure I'd post this up.

Stopped at my friend's shop today. He puts in an ad each year and I finally collected (His Dad's been sick for a few weeks). He also gets his Snap-On rep to give us stuff. So, got a check today and some stuff....

For those interested:
100th Anniversary 8inch pliers set. (~$160?)
Snap On Tech Crate (~$100)
Then, some other branded stuff that we'll use as door prizes at the event. Figured the first two might have interest.

The first two are available as items 93 and 94 here: https://raffle.dartsfordreams.com along with many other prizes. I'll ship anything not marked with "Local Pickup Only", which is just liquor and the cooler and a few other big items. Pics for the items are on the raffle page.

That's it. Thanks again to everyone who's helped out.

Been a little busy this week - S2KI was pretty low on the list.

Online raffles close tonight so anyone who still wants to get some tickets check out https://raffle.dartsfordreams.com and follow the instructions. Thanks again all!

Have a great weekend, probably catch up on life on Sunday!
