It was a lucky barn find. Actually, it was a garage find. The car has been parked in the garage and not driven for 10 years. The owner died about 2 years ago, and his son and daughter, on behalf of the estate, sold it to me. Its near the Jersey shore so I have to trailer it up next weekend.

I have some work to do on it. I have to get the engine running and redo the brakes, but I think that's pretty much all that it needs to go on the road. Most of the rest is cosmetic (I hope).

It should be a fun project car, and I've always wanted to own an MG-TD. I had one back in the 1970s (below with my father standing behind the car) but I had to sell it when they sold their house in Brooklyn. I had no place to keep it. Now I have this one. I've always thought that the TC & TD were the most classic, beautiful MGs, the A the sexiest, and the B the best.

Rob, that is a great find!

I'm sure that you will enjoy it.

Maybe, Adam can work on it with you.

That's debatable. I still think that Sebring Silver is the fastest color of this generation, certainly on an S2000. Red was fast back in 1952 when my TD was made.

Thank you.

Actually, I spoke to Adam after I bought it. He's almost as excited about it as I am. I told him, tongue in cheek of course, that he has to come back to New Jersey to help work on it. He promised me he would!.

Or, maybe you can drive it to Ohio, and Adam can help you work on it in Ohio.

And, then Dennis and I can see you, Liz, Adam, and the car, all in person.

Ahhh...I see that you said, "I have to get the engine running and redo the brakes, but I think that's pretty much all that it needs to go on the road."

So, maybe you will first have to trailer it up to get it to Ohio, and then Adam can help you in Ohio.

Either NFR,or BRG,...would not look good in Sebring Silver.
