Just for old times sake.
Sometime this afternoon my Blackberry started to vibrate. I picked it up off of my desk to have a look at which irate client isn't getting a refund this year or which spammer wanted to sell me viagra for next to nothing. Much to my surprise, the e-mail had a heading with a name that I didn't recognize but a suffix that said .s2ki. I looked further and noticed that the subject said "Winter Storage Tips". Wow I thought, I remember that thread, I must still be subscribed to it.
I haven't been around lately. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do all of the things that I want to do. Especially now that it's tax season my days belong to my clients and it seems like all I do is work.
I'd been missing the friends that I made here, and every now and again I get a little nostalgic for this place. I clicked on the link and was directed to the thread. I saw a few of the people that I knew, and a few of the people who I didn't. A nice feeling came over me and I posted a simple hello. Thankfully a few of my friends were nice enough to respond.
Now I'm afraid that I've hijacked the other thread and that wasn't my intention. That thread is a really good and valuable thread. On the way home I decided to start this thread just to renew my old friendships and say hello to everyone in Vintage.

And hello, back to you again, Rob! I know this is your busy season, but glad to see you stopping in for a bit. Give our best to Liz, Adam, and Andrew. Also, don't you think it's time for another "cabin air filter and wheel nut day" later on this year? I'm sure we can get another crowd together like we did in 2008.
Take care and try to pop in every now and again. Vintage isn't the same without you.

Hi Gene,
Give my regards to Bea.
The "Cabin Air Filter and Wheel Nut Day" was a lot of fun, and yes, I do think its time for another. Maybe later this spring or summer.

I'm really doing well, Rob. I've been in my new (to me) house for two years as of March 1st and have settled in to my new single life. I just saw my CPA this evening. I'm healthy. Life is good.
