Default Kayakers go looking for GW shark

These two women have been in the local news here over the past two days. Their kayak was attacked by a GW shark. The father of one of the women told reporters that his daughter and her friend were actually out looking for the shark after learning that it had eaten a seal in the area.

Dad says he isn't uspest about it and gave his daughter a kiss when she left to go try to find the GW.

Maybe the girl who killed the shooting instructor with the uzi has the same parents???

Gosh, maybe they’ll go out again to rescue their camera. It’s lying on the bottom in only 10 to 15 feet of water.

Yeah, I was so surprised to learn they did this knowing the shark was there with the intent of finding it.

I happened to have had a job when I was active duty working "with" the SEALS. I asked how they deal with sharks that are aggressive. I grew up on the ocean (across the street in Coronado) and had seen quite a few over the years. They all said that someone in that environment is in the sharks environment. They just accept it and do what they need to do. Its like driving down a two lane road. Its possible the oncoming driver could veer into your lane but you just accept it as a driver and deal with it.

What can you say? The world, or at least a large part of it, has gone crazy.
