Wow what great racing so far in the first 6 hrs. I think the announcers (I've no idea who they are) are doing a great job of explaining what's going on. I just took a break from watching my tape. Great info and comments have kept me from fast forwarding the coverage. Comments like “A little choke chain is good but you don’t want to choke the dog!” in reference to Aston Martin’s required BOP changes due to winning the pole. Really sad to see the #63 Corvette get taken out like that at the end of the first sequence of my tapes.

I agree, the announcers are doing a great job, ( except the one expert doesn't know the difference between Slovenia and Slovakia). Enjoyable race. And the track has been mostly dry. The BMW M8s are not doing well, Porsches are seriously kicking ass; but no Audis to be seen (TDIs are history), and Mercedes is absent; the German monikers, including those of VW AG, are underrepresented... Too bad about about the two Corvettes that were quick in the beginning, but Ganassi's Fords are hanging in there in GTE Pro.

I like watching the night time streaming...

No AUDI, Nissan, or Porsche prototypes? Never even heard of Gibson Racing.

I hate the glare from headlights when I am out on the road driving so watching them on tv isn't any different. I fast forward through a lot of this night stuff.

Dempsey's Proton Racing Porsche is an early retirement. The Fords are bunched up from 4th on back.

What a bad break for #7 Toyota. Good to see a Ferrari win over Porsche but its a shame the Vette couldn't have been there to push things at the end. The Fords were bullet-proof but just didn't have it to be a front runner. Another LeMans in the books.

And the winner is...Alonzo.
Still has some good racing left.
