Mine is now a small fraction of what it was. But I think that is because they messed around with the middle ear.

A relative has serious brain surgery coming up later this month. I hope his outcome is a good as LB's but it is a different kind and in a pretty difficult area to access. He does have the best neurosurgeon in the country for this type of surgery, so we are hopeful.

^ My relative came through his surgery very well...now on to the recovery/rehab.
