Smile Made it Home Safely from Gettysburg

Post if so inclined!
I arrived at 11:43 this morning after an uneventful trip
Jamie, I found your headset in my secret compartment. Forgot I put it there! I'll give it to Denny the next time I see him. (Denny was right...it did turn up!) Thanks again!
And, thanks to Ken for his usual mediocre job planning and organizing this event! It was a pleasure, as always.

And the beers were still cold when I got home. Waiting for the proper moment to enjoy them. Thanks again!

I arrived home at about 15:30 EDT. I agree with all the other previous comments, and look forward to next year. With a special thanks to Sharon and Denny for the Battle Field tour today. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

No worries. Whenever it comes back, it comes back. If it doesn't, I'm not concerned. I'm just glad you had it available for the drive Saturday.

Made it home at 20:00. A solid 8-hour back drive to Wright-Patt. Only saw one cop on the Turnpike, who pulled out just in front of me.

Thanks, Ken, as always, for putting on a great event. Glad we could properly celebrate Denny's birthday.

The title makes it seem there's something inherently dangerous about leaving Gettysburg. As if getting home "safely" is unusual.
