Forget about putting the top down in Florida from June until November unless it's at night. It's too freakin' hot. Man do you cook! From November until the end of May is convertable paradise. When I was younger and living up north, I couldn't wait for these hot days to put my top down. Now...forget it! By the way, the dealer suggests driving with the top down and the air conditioning on. Also, Floridians would never use the boot in the summer because it rains at the drop of a hat. Perfect convertable weather is definately up north this time of year. To my northern brothers...enjoy...before the snow, then come to Florida. -Ken

haha....thats what happens when you move down here from up north n hide in the air condiditoning all the time...I'm glad I live in the cool part of florida where the top only goes up when it rains.

i run the air with the top down in conv mode...works perfect...course I rarely turn the air condidtioning on in my house. i must be acclimated.

I guess that I must be hard core but the top doen't go up until the temps are >100. Its just too much fun to have the top up even when its bit$h hot. Besides on the ride home at 70 mph or better the sweat just evaporates

If Naples is cooler, it's only because of the breeze from the wings of all those damned mosquitos you have down there - big as stealth fighters!

Arizona wins hands down as top down paradise. With temps. over 100 since July began, my top has been up. But soon things will begin to cool below 100 and the top will go down and stay there except for the occasional chilly day in Dec.-Jan. So, al fresco driving from Sept.-June.

Hey Palmateer Shhh your giving away our environmentally correct skeeter air conditioning secrets...but seriously...watch naples temps we're cooler and you're hotter in the summer...we don't get the skeeter problem unless you're living off the coast or in the mangroves....

Anyway unless it rains the tops down...and come to think of it...it rains lots more on you all than it does on me...honest...hard to believe isn't it...way down here on the sw tip is more temperate that everywher else in fla hmmm..

quoting Buffett.... "I'm umbillically connected to the temperate zone" lol

have a good day fltsfshr

It's top down paradise and as soon as things get better you'll put yours down? Duh!

The last time I drove my car with the top up was in March and the last time the top was up, it was only to wash the car, then I put it right back down again. Top down paradise is where it never rains and the temperatures are livable. Arizona seems to have only one of the two.

I'll drive with the air conditioning on and the top down any time it's hot enough. With the windows up and air deflector in place between the seats, the air conditioner does a decent job of keeping me at a proper temperature. It has worked for me for temperatures over 100 degrees in the Southern California desert.

My top doesn't go up unless water is coming inside the cockpit, and that's pretty rare around here.
