Anyone want to put together and paint my S2000 model? I seem to not have the time to do it. Or trade me for a S2000 toy in white?

I just received a model that I really like. 1/18 die cast of the MGA prototype known as EX182 that raced at LeMans in 1955 when the car was introduced to the public using three racers.

Who is the manufacturer of that die cast, if you don't mind me asking dig04. It appears to be 1/8 scale, is that correct?

It is 1/18th scale manufactured by the Triple 9 Collection die cast company in the Netherlands and sold by American Excellence, Charlotte, NC. Here's a tail shot.

Very nice, the smaller details on the cockpit, etc are impressive.

Not to get carried away here, but here is a picture of the actual car at the '55 LeMans. Back in June 1979 I got to see one at a meet in Canada. And just for grins I have to include this photo... of the actual pits at that race! Can you imagine this is all they had to keep three race cars running non-stop for 24 hours.

Talk about simpler times.

I imagine somewhere behind the pits was parked one of the BMC transport trucks which also carried some parts/service capabilities. Great photo, by far simpler times and regulations.
