On second thought, I think I'll exchange places with MsP after she gets the bathroom finished so she can have all the remodeling done here that needs done. After that we'll trade off again. Whadyathink, Ms. P?

I'm thinking it could be my second career, except I don't want to make a career out of it. Fix up the condo the way I want it and enjoy for who knows how long. I want to do the fixing before I retire, so I have the money for everything and don't have to worry about where it's coming from. After this, the master bath needs redoing - then I'm done with the big stuff.

The master bath is the only room in our house that hasn't been remodeled. It is 20 years old and in desperate need, but we just haven't gotten around to it. In the next year or two, I'm sure.

I've looked at graniteland.com (great website). It has 122 white marble samples from all over the world! Gonna be tough making up my mind.

Took a pic of the vanity top in the showroom so I can try to finally make my decision about the marble in the rest of the bath (floor and shower walls).

How long is the vanity?

The colors are pretty, but it is a bit busy for me. However, if if the rest of the room is not busy, it will likely look just fine and give the room a punch of color.

The vanity will be 48" wide. Like the pic at the top, but with drawers on the left also. The vanity only comes with the top shown, so I'll be matching to that.

Decent size vanity....still a bit busy for me, but if you like it, go for it.

Well, the walls will be painted, probably a light grey, or maybe just white. Most of the marble will be inside the shower, except for the floor, which is not big. So I'm still .
