Guys are here working. Inserts can be done individually, so I expect in a few hours they will be done. I found 20 spots that need to be addressed. Flooring boss apologized a couple of times and said it should never have happened. Tile guy didn't say anything. Operations manager didn't look too pleased, either. The project manager for the restoration company (which also owns the flooring company) came by while the guys were downstairs getting stuff and he was pretty horrified, too. So tile guy not only embarrassed himself, but ops mgr, boss, and project manager. I hope he has learned a valuable lesson!

All's well that ends well, and the bathroom looks great. Everything fixed. Had a final walkthrough with the ops mgr and the boss came back, too. Fixtures go back in Wed and I will take some pics tomorrow after the tile dries completely.

Glad they fixed it better than this tile job:

Here are pics with grout (and fixes) before baseboard, painting and reinstall of fixtures tomorrow. Sorry for the artificial light - second pic is closest to true colors. I really love this tile combo and am very happy now after a couple of days of major stress.

Guys are working...baseboard done, first coat of paint is wrapping up, then vanity reinstall and some fixtures. Pics later.

Vanity, mirror, toilet and assorted accessories for tomorrow. The reinstall of the shower fixtures so I could test them (water is off tomorrow for pipe work) took quite awhile. But baseboard and most of the painting are done.

Here are the final pics...not very good but you get the idea. Lighting in there is not the best and it's a small bathroom. Overall experience (except for the tile issue) was very positive and I love the results. The workers were very good, friendly and conscientious. I think I was a hit with them because I speak some Spanish and most all of them are from Central America.
