Default Mt. Equinox Hill Climb

Ever heard of the Mount Equinox Hill Climb in VT? We were on the Skyline Drive of Mt. Equinox (toll road) this past week in VT. Interesting to read about this when we got to the summit.

A couple of photos from inside the building at the top of the summit.

Our view at the top was less than stellar...

Did you make it there in under five minutes Lainey?

I'd be showing my age if I knew about it. But, heck yes, I am very aware of it. Never been there. But (see my smile) I have met both Bill Milliken and John Fitch - a couple of the celeb drivers mentioned in your photo. Hang around with old farts long enough and it happens.

We did not. Some really impressive hairpin turns on that road. Oh and the climb is still happening. We missed it by a week.

I've watched it a couple of times amazing to see those old cars make it up the "hill". Speaking of John Fitch I met him awhile back and chatted with him, super nice guy.

robb. Guess where we went for dinner while we were in VT. Back to the "Back Behind Saloon" where you took us back in 2007. It was our anniversary dinner. We are livin' large! It's still a neat place and I highly recommend their carrot cake! Hope all is well with you.

The hill climb is this weekend. I have an invitation and the desire to run. But I just can't risk another car weekend without fear of the spousal uprising.

Check out the VSCCA Facebook page. Photos are already appearing. Should be big next week.

Cheers
