I am in. Like airfares hotel rates (and the points required are based on occupancy rates). I made my reservation minutes ago. I can stay at the Embassy Suites in Center City Philly for $4.70, not including parking. So my plan is to arrive around noon, with a "hostess gift" that went over fairly well a few years ago. Then head off to Philly in time for the "Managers Complimentary Happy Hour" from 5-7 PM. Then walk to the Oyster House (formerly known as the Sanson Street Oyster House (since 1947), then on to Chris's Jazz Café down Sanson Street after that. Spend the night (rather than make the six + hour round trip (depending on traffic) Wake up on Sunday, eat the cook to order breakfast, then go on to visit with my 100 year old Mother on Long Island.
P.S. To Ken F: Please keep booking events at Hilton properties :-) I guess I know why you switched Gettysburg from the Hilton Garden Inn to the Holiday Inn Express :-( .
