We replaced our furnace maybe 5 years ago. Local heating and AC guy gave us the best info and decent pricing. They were up on which systems would qualify for the energy credits and rebates that were ongoing at the time. I think the brand is Goodman, which is probably just a builder's grade? Admittedly we didn't do much research. We've been happy with the system, though there are now a lot of computer parts in these things. There won't be any "small repairs" on the way. Rick noticed it running a bit loud the other day. We'll have to wait to see if it happens again, though I may call for a routine service on it.

A Mr. Heater is a great little propane unit to heat your shed, garage, boat or barn. It has some great safety features as well, such as low oxygen and tip over shut down.

Looks a lot safer than the torpedo flame thrower I used back in my early garage days.
