Default New battery for my iPhone

I'm very pleased to announce that my iPhone has been accepted for the Apple iPhone battery replacement program. As I'm sure some of you know, not all iPhones are accepted and to qualify, they must pass a test. I'm very proud that my phone has passed the test and has been accepted into this prestigious program. But there is a risk. I am concerned that it will lose some or all of its memory. In that event, I will lose all my important apps. So please keep my phone in your thoughts today.

Thank you.

Bill

Do you have the 6? If so I got the battery replacement (at the lower price) with no issues...Of course my phone hasn't been exposed to any sea water lately...that could cause problems too.

Yes, i was afraid that there might be some prejudice against salt water exposed phones, but that did not pose a problem.

Assuming this isn't a troll post: Back up your iPhone. Then you can restore whatever was on it. I'm told you can "backup" a PC as well.

Good to hear that. Keep a bag of rice handy.

My phone survived the process with no memory loss and so far the new battery is just fantastic. The phone has now run for over six hours and is still at 90%

Why assume anything??

I saw no reason to back up anything.

Excellent! BTW, your phone probably backs itself up to the cloud or wherever if you leave it plugged in to charge overnight. Maybe there's a setting to be adjusted for that if you are so inclined.
