My Note 4 is/was great for batteries. Just pop off the back and slide a freshly charge one in. Presto! Ready to go. Batteries are about $12 on Amazon/eBay.

I miss replaceable batteries but I do like waterproof phones.

If you have an older iPhone, look into the battery replacement program and see if you qualify. My phone is much better now.

Did you pay $29.00? I know that was the pricing, until the end of October for the iphone 6. Not sure if any of that has changed. Regular price is about $79.00.

Yes. A pretty good deal considering it is not a do-it-yourself job. Two days in and I’m still happy, but today will be the first real test of battery life.

Bill, I have a 5S, original battery. Did you have issues with your battery? Mine has been fine, never gave any thought to replacing the battery.

Yes. I've had the phone for three years. The battery was fine for the first 2.5 years. Suddenly (and shortly after an Apple "upgrade" was downloaded and installed) I couldn't get half way through the day without a recharge. And I previously ran it all day long and got home at the end of the day with 40% charge remaining. As of right now, I am showing a 78% charge.

This was a common occurrence and pretty widely reported and is the reason Apple offers the $29 replacement.

BTW, the offer for the $29.00 battery replacement is good until the end of the year, IF your phone qualifies.

The same thing occurred with my SE which is a basically a smaller version of the iPhone 6. Did you have to leave the phone or did they do it while you waited?
