Thanks for the nice welcome and thanks for providing the link to become a member. Jerry I am not Charlie's uncle. His wife is my daughters best friend and I adopted Charlie. He took one ride in my 00 S2000 and then bought his own. Since then, with the addition of his son, he sold the S2000 for a Touareg. In fact, his business partners' wife bought my 00. Keeping it in the family so to speak. I will check out the Spring Fling link and see what our plans are for that time slot. Think spring, gonna be close to 60 down here tomorrow.

Ray, I edited my post to correct the words....I had a feeling that "uncle" was not exactly correct

Now, was your question about "member" related to joining the Vintage Forum or joining s2ki.com MsPerky gave you a link for the former and I gave you info for the latter. Where else on the Internet can you get answers to questions that you didn't even ASK

Hey, now that I'm not working, maybe I can drive down to Dover area for a visit later in the spring.... I would like to learn more about living in The First State

Jerry,

Feel free to stop by to visit us, too! By the way, there are still a couple of lots left in our development, plus a couple of resales, as well. Of course, the neighbors would never forgive me!

Here's an interesting article that was in today's Wilmington News Journal about the major corporations who are incorporated in Delaware, and the dramatic impact that federalization of incorporating could have on our state. (In short, approximately 33% of our state's income is from the taxes and fees associated with our business friendly laws, which if federalized, would in essence, bankrupt the state)

I guess I should join both Jerry. What is the difference. Yes, come on down anytime, just let me know and we can give you the tour of Lewes. My daughter lives in Smyrna which is another nice small town and another member from there has posted.

Gene, Delaware should be taking some proactive steps in this direction....from the article:

".....Some lawyers are calling for Delaware to throw water on the fire before the national election by tweaking the state's corporate law to address growing concerns among stockholders, including their desire to have a voice in what top managers are paid."
